Cancellation Policy
Purpose The purpose of this policy is to establish clear guidelines for the Mentor Matchmaking Program, which connects qualified mentors with startups, entrepreneurs, and partner institutions within the Genesis innovation network. The program aims to foster ethical leadership, professional growth, and strategic innovation through personalized mentoring relationships. Scope This policy applies to all mentors, mentees, and program administrators participating in the Genesis mentorship ecosystem, including affiliates of FS2F (Orlando) and ITTM (Brazil). Objectives The Mentor Matchmaking Program seeks to: Facilitate meaningful connections between mentors and startups based on expertise, stage of development, and project alignment. Promote a values-based mentorship culture grounded in integrity, faith, and innovation. Ensure professional conduct, confidentiality, and mutual respect between mentors and mentees. Support the long-term development of innovative projects that contribute to the Genesis mission. Eligibility Mentors must: Be recognized professionals, entrepreneurs, or educators with proven experience in their field. Complete Genesis’s Ethical Mentorship Orientation. Agree to the Genesis Code of Conduct and confidentiality terms. Mentees must: Be enrolled in or affiliated with a Genesis-accredited program, startup, or partner institution. Submit a Mentor Matchmaking Application outlining goals and areas of interest. Matchmaking Process Applications are reviewed and matched using criteria such as industry, expertise, values alignment, and availability. Matches are confirmed through the Mentor Match Booking System. Mentoring sessions may occur virtually or in person, depending on mentor location and participant preference. Feedback is collected after each cycle to improve the matchmaking process. Mentorship Expectations Sessions should focus on strategic guidance, innovation scaling, and leadership growth. Both parties must respect scheduled commitments and maintain professional boundaries. Mentors serve as guides, not consultants or investors. Confidential information shared during sessions must not be disclosed. Fees and Program Maintenance Participation in the Mentor Matchmaking Program requires an active accreditation or program membership, maintained through monthly payments as defined in the participant’s accreditation level (Silver, Gold, or Platinum).
